Nice work Mike. Every year I want to go to this but it always conflicts with soccer. The Hammock Weaver is my favorite one.

This kind of corresponds to our Pawnee Indian Pow-wow. They are enjoyable and good photo opportunities. Culture is a good thing to share.

Thanks Oscar! maybe you do... Look up Renaissance Festival (or Fair) online. I don't know about Europe but if you are in the U.S., there are dozens and dozens scattered across the country.

Looks like you had a good time. Love the expression on the girl on stilts. I have always wanted to attend this festival, but never got around to it. Might just go at the end of Oct.

Thanks Tom. It's a fun event. Be great to have you along on the 23rd. Should be much more comfy temps than last weekend.

Thanks Chuck. Most of the site is back in a mature forested area so the light is very shade broken with lots of opportune light shafts.

Thanks Dave. Yeah the mounted knights and jousting demos are very neat.

Thanks Jer. Funny thing is I think many of the actors have been taught to actually stand in the light when possible (almost like spotlights on a stage), which makes shots like that work.

Really good series. Excellent work picking viewpoints and angles to minimize distracting backgrounds.
