Here are some of my favourite shots from my recent trip to Skye and Scotland
The first three are from Skye

The second three are around Oban

Thanks for looking!

Yes, yes! You've captured the moods of Skye wonderfully. We were there this past year, but never saw as much blue sky as in the lower three shots. A bit gloomy, gray, and drizzly damp, but nevertheless a beautiful place. Maybe I'll post one of my shots, although I didn't get any as good as these. And of the set, I like the first the best by a slight margin - something about the apparent antiquity of the stonework in the foreground.

Lovely shots Rob. I particularly like the bits of heather, and the Oban photo with McCaig's folly in the background brings back memories.

Thanks for all the complementary comment folks, but its really the beauty of the place that makes taking beautiful photos easy. We were blessed with good weather and I still cant believe we had so much sun and no rain for 6 days. One shop keeper even asked if the heat (19deg C) was putting us off our food we paid for it in lousy weather in france though!

A beautiful place, & beautiful images.
We went there 10 yrs ago, & went to Portree (spelling?), and we also saw the spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie landed....Skye is truly a beautiful spot.
Cheers, Pickles.
