here's a few flowers that i took a couple of weeks ago at one of the prize gardens when the Toowoomba carnival was on

Number 3 is my favorite. Nice colors and composition, not too cluttered.

The first and third shots work for me. The near white flowers behind the pansies in the second shot are too bright and distracting as a background element, but you'd have to come up higher and shoot almost straight down to eliminate them, perhaps not the best angle for showing the pansies.

now that fall is here, the leaves are down.... i really appreciate those beautiful blooms.... the color rendition and sharpness of that lens really shines.... nice work, dave m
