Daddy longlegs

These guys are weird enough at a distance, but they really seem alien close-up.

That's not like the 'Daddy Longlegs' I'm familiar with in the UK and here in Greece but nevertheless it's a heck of a monster close up. Areally great macro, well done.

Like the shot, dislike the bug. The ones I remember growing up were darker, nearly black.

Thanks to all for comments.

fotaki & digadv: No surprise that arachnids you know as "daddy longlegs" are different. That's why scientists prefer technical genus/species names. I wonder how many different flowers are called "Indian paintbrush" across the USA. Also, the American bird called a "robin" is totally different from the British bird with the same name.
