Unbelievable! I look at it and I think, how could you improve the picture? The ball is probably in the best postion. The gallery are all looking in the direction of the camera. There's even the interesting fella on the right with the cigar. Who ever took it is an "overnight success" (even though they've probably been shooting sports for 30 years LOL)

Timing is all off. By the time Tiger was in that position, the ball would be long gone.

This is a great story and a great shot.

I was surprised to see some people have suggested that Tiger hit the photographer on purpose. This is ridiculous. The way Tiger's been playing lately he couldn't hit anything on purpose.

What gets me is that it has the same almost "cheesy aura" about it as those paintings of the deceased movie stars in the Hollywood Diner (Elvis, Marlon, James Dean etc), or maybe the cover of the Sgt Pepper album.
And when you take a group photo, what are the chances that everyone will all look your way. This group pays far more attention to Tigers ball than they ever would a photographer.
A very compelling photo in my opinion...
