First night out with the 645d
Lens: FA 33-55mm Camera: 645d Photo Location: Garrapata Beach, Carmel

First photoshoot with the 645d turned out to be an epic failure. Arrived at Garrapata beach
only 20mins before sunset, I didn't have enough time to contemplate on the composition.
Got some great light around sunset, but most of the photos were ruined because of a
number of control mistakes, somehow the AF didn't work right and I ended up with blurry
foreground. The only shot that I could salvage was from the last few mins, when all the colors
subdued looking grey all around. Will provide better samples next time. : )

That is your epic failure? I wanna fail like you on a daily basis.

Super nice shot, lots of detail, despite the light. What a difference the sensor makes.

Looking forward to seeing more of your images.

Training on the equipment will always reap benefits. Hope this proves right for your next sessions.

I wouldn't call that picture a failure. In fact, it's an arresting image, even considering the light wasn't great and it was your first time out with the new equipment. Nice image, seriously.

Beautiful - lots of good detail in all parts of the shot. Looking forward to seeing more from that camera. If this is "bad" - you're off to a good start.

Disaster - quit right now and hand me your camera.

Surface mist is beautifully rendered here.

Not if he hands it to me first!

Your "failure" is about on par with one of my better days, harklee.
