I built myself a lightbox!
Lens: 18-55mm Kit Lens Camera: Pentax K-x ISO: 100

I spent about ten dollars on materials and built it in an hour or so. This is one of my first pictures so it's not perfect by any means, but I was happy with it! I could see myself making good use of it.

Nice, although toy have a red dot directly under the left bottom corner of your MP3 player. How did you build it? I built one using printing paper and an old box from a coffee machine.

I had a cardboard box, cut out 3 sides (left-hand side, right-hand side, and top) of the box leaving about a 1.5 inch bezel around each, and covered it with white cloth from the inside using transparent carpet tape. Then I cut the dimensions of poster board that I needed to let it be taped at the top of the far end of the box and kind of glide down to the bottom of the closest side to you.

If anyone wants a picture of it, I can take one.

A picture is worth 1,000 words so I think it would be a good idea to upload a shot of it.

There you go. Nobody said it had to be pretty

This was more of a test to see if I could even make one. I'm happy with the results though, so I think I will make a better one soon.

Nice. Yup, that looks like the one I built. Got the idea from strobist.com as I did?

I got it from instructables, although it's probably pretty much the exact same project directions. And the "red dot" is actually just wear from the plastic part of the zune. It's unfortunate that that part is not brushed aluminum like the back, but what can ya do.

Fun project, and nice results. I would bump up the exposure a bit though, it looks a little dull/grey.
