Hungry Hummy
Lens: DA*300/4 Camera: K20D Photo Location: Fraserville, Quebec

Was a while back when I took this photo, at my sister's. Hand held "as usual" (still don't/never carry my tripod along). This is the female Ruby throated hummingbird.
Always NEVER as sharp as my originals ... especially this one.

Trying another (same) picture from My Albums to see if there is a difference in sharpness.

... not working ... I'm really getting frustrated with this.

Thanks!

I wished I could show you the original! This one looks rather blurry compared to what I am seeing from it.

Thanks, Scott!

May be the monitor here ... always seems to be unsharp!

Cheers.

Well done, especially handheld. I wouldn't worry about the sharpness since the forum puts a pretty tight limit on the number of megapixels a shot can have when it's posted. I have the same issue, as I'm sure do others.

Even at lower resolution this is a great shot.

Shucks, I'd be dancin' if just one of my (gazillion) hummer shots was that good!

Thanks Pete.

Indeed, it's tough to get some details at such low mp's!

Someone made me notice that there was a slight overexposure on the bird itself .... I can really see it just now.
That could easily be fixed if I re-used the original RAW file and decrease the exp just a tad.
But, I will leave it at that for now and eventually reload a corrected one.

... Believe me, it took quite a FEW (bad wording ...) to get this one.

Thanks for the comment.

Cheers.
