Swallow Tail butterfly taken with the Pentax DA 50-200mm

Same one diffrent angle.

The cacoon of a Monarch Butterfly almost ready to hatch.

And finaly the Monarch catapiller. Sorry for the contrast but this close and green on green confuses the lens.

Amazing color range and saturation in the first shot! That one's the best by far

Thanks Adam, I thought so too, I did the pp in Picasa and am amazed at how well the color processing does with this simple program. If you get the chance download Picasa from the web and give it a try. I never had to add a RAW conversion plugin but found to my delight the program takes my RAW files and instantly processes them to the Picasa format, and with being able to export the files and convert to a JPEG file for web use is great. Infact You are able to set the resizing going into the exported file to the size you want. this program is very sweet.
I won't give up my Photoshop cs2 for the plain fact there is so much more you can do over Picasa but for those quick lets see and post shots it's a great program.
