These are excellent pics of - what appears to be - pretty flat country! I especially like 3 (ducks) and 4. I've never used (or even seen) a Bigma; did you hand hold this one?

Great stuff as always Heinrich.

Lived on the prairies for 17 years. One forgets how flat it is and how big the sky can be.

Nice shots Heinrich... Like Jer I like #3 and #4 the most... #3 because I simply cannot get the hang of BIF shot and #4 because it illustrates the desolation of the area most effectively.

Nice series Heinrich - love the Ducks in flight that is well done indeed. That last one catches my eye as well.

Looking forward to you taking us on the rest of the journey.

Heinrich, you always post nice images in here. These are certainly no exceptions. Not a lot of trees around those parts are there.

Thank you Jer and no, I used a tripod on that one. Things seem to get heavier every day and Bigma is not what one would call a walkabout lens.

Thank you Tom and yes it was a "large day".

Hi Mike and thank you. Once you get the hang of it BIF shots are not difficult, took me a long time as well and than one day "ah, that's how it works"

Take care,

Thank you for the kind words and no, not too many trees around there.

Take care,
