My first K10d image
Posted By: joele, 12-03-2006, 03:41 AM

Well this is the first real picture (non test) I have taken with my K10d so I thought I would post it up...

Taken with the K10d, FA77 and Sigma DG Super flash, which exposes well on the K10d..

Hey Joel. Glad to see you using fa77 limited!

Well control lighting with the flash. You know that i do see that pair of eyes a little affected by the reflection. I could see the blue colour beneath both cornea! I wish I could get rid of that cataract or flash reflections (There is a term for detecting cataract - if you flash the eyes with a torch, you would usually see red light reflex while cataract diminished that sign)

The cat below looks very cosy, comfortable with nice reddish hue in the eyes.

Nice post and I mised fa77 limited already

Nice! From the wide open eye look I gather momma was a little worried about you sticking that one big eye near her baby?

Nice, Joele. Well composed, and lighted. Did you have your Sigma rechipped?

Nah, I bought mine after the k100d had come out and it was pre-chipped to work with the k100d (and obviously the k10d too)..

I bounced teh flash (no diffuser) off the wall, but they are in a small cupboard so it was a fairly tight spot and obviously didn't diffuse the light enough?
