Two Beers Before the Mast . . . . and Other Tales of the Sea

Shots taken today on a gorgeous day on the Bay. Just shows what can happen when a 64-year-old geezer has too much time on his hands.

Did you have the Flag at half mast for the two dead soldiers (but I will assume you had two more to replace them !) Nice shots !

A good name - the only difference is Billy was abused by the crew and Capt. - I'm abused by the first mate!

So are those your two feet post-two beer consumption? Looks like a wonderful day being completely non-productive. How fun.

Those are, indeed, my two feet (and stunning legs) standing on the cabin top as we sailed in some light air. These are my latest pair of Sperrys and worn only on deck, since they're too pristine to wear in public .

Hey, Mike - Thanks, and yeah it's great to be able to sail on my schedule and not the company's.

Hey, John - sailors choose light beers so the stuff's not so heavy to carry all the way down the dock.
