Something old before the new

Was going to wait till I got my K10D before I posted any images, but it's still at least 10days away here in the UK In the mean time I thought I would share some of my *istD images.
Some have already been previously posted over at DPR.

Sigma EX 70-200 f2.8 APO DG 1/250s f/2.8 at 200.0mm iso200

SMC-A 100mm f2.8 Macro,AF-360FGZ 1/750s f/16.0 iso200 with AF360FGZ Flash.

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO Macro HSM 1/1500s f/8.0 at 200.0mm iso200

I second that. #1 is a very nice capture. Excellent macro of the fly and the sunset shot is very well done with nice composition.

Nicely done. I'm not much for bug macros, but well done. Love the feeling in the first one. The last one, well I'm a sucker for sensut shots.

Looks like...

I'm in the minority on this one-

I like the wasp (hornet?) shot the best.

Thank you all for the nice comments, much appriecited, hope to share a lot more with you folks.

#1 was a grab shot as my wife and I were walking through the park.
#2 is a Hover Fly, don't get too many exotic creatures in Scotland.
#3 is a sunrise taken about 150 yards from my front door.
