quite a rare find of this colored mantis. Usually found in trees and shrubs. Most of the mantis in our part of the world are green and black in color. I suppose, different continents have different colors.

Yes we get green ones and mottled brown ones as well.

Thanks, and they are reasonably friendly as well, in other words they don't bite!
