Thank you Susan, kind of you to comment.

Would you mind sharing your technique? Where do the colours come from?
Hi Dan,
First of all thank you for the kind words.
As for my technique I find some kind of container that isn't going to show up in the process ( something clear ) and fill with water. I use two tripods, one that holds the camera and lens and the other to hold a balloon that I partially fill with water. ( You really don't need to use the second tripod but anything that will hold the balloon above the bowl. Some folks use the kitchen sink but that limits my mobilty.
If you have flash that has slave capablities you can use that or a flash cord.
I think the hardest part is getting a steady drip. Just keep experimenting and you will probably go through a few popped ballons. ( KEEP A DRY TOWEL HANDY! )
To get the focus right, I watch to see where the drips are hiting the water and hold a pencil or something in that position and focus on that and your focus set.
The first time I tried it I focused in a downward position but you lose DOF. So focus straight on.
As for the color. Just use any color poster paper and bounce the flash off of that.
In this series I put a sheet directly behind the clear bowl and one underneath it. I used the pop out reflector on the flash to bounce a little light on the bottom sheet also. You can us the remote to take the picture but I found it very difficult to time it this way so I very carefully just pushed the shutter release button and was able to get a lot more keepers. I hope this helps and are able to understand it! I'm sometimes not very good at explaining things
Good Luck and if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
Oren
