Hard to get any work done with that big ole Bigma staring at me ... Now the gulls are not a particularly beautiful or scarce bird - but there are within walking distance of work.

A few more 'practicing' shots today - all hand held most at 500mm. I need some work on panning birds in flight none of those I shot today are worth showing here..

I got some Geese ones as well - will go though those later .

Refreshing drink - hard to see here but in the orignal you can see the droplets of water from the Gulls beak this is right after he was shaking his head ...

Now that is a Gull I haven't seen around here...the Great Lakes area. Nice shots of the Bonaparte's Gull. I am usually knee deep in these ring billed types lol. I also use the Bigma for my wildlife shots. It’s an awesome lens.
