A squirrel on the bird feeder
Lens: SMC Pentax DA L 55-300 1:4-5.8 Camera: Pentax k-x Photo Location: Finland ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F8

This is from a tripod, through a 3-glass window. As light was already getting lower I went quite high for ISO. The focus plane seems to slightly too far, but the smallish aperture used helps, should probably go a step smaller (11) next time light allowing.

I tried a bit of PP on the DNG, ufraw: denoise (30), +0.67EV, gimp: crop, resize to 33% with zinc interpolation, contrast +3, sharpen +10) aiming for laptop sceen as the medium.

Constructive critique (most) welcome :-)

I think the light background coupled with the squirrel and mail box being dark as well made this shot difficult to pull the detail out of the squirrel.
