Reddish Egret a 100% crop
Lens: DFA 100mm Tamron TC 1.4 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: So.Cal ISO: 400 Aperture: F5.6

This bird was a rare sight in our part of the country although a couple of them have been spotted by the birders in the area. It was a lazy afternoon and the bird did not show any desire to move from it's spot.I had to crop the image 100% to get this close.
I hope you like the results.

That is one shaggy and interesting looking critter. Never seen one before. Nice catch!

He is really interesting to watch when fishing. Hops around a lot.May be that is what keeps him scrawny looking.

The lens used was DFA 300 F4.
