Keyed Up - 6 Pix

I've been practicing high key photos for this week's P52 Challenge: High Key Photography. This isn't a technique I'm practiced with, and found it to be a lot of fun. Not sure all of them qualify as high key photos, but here are some results.

Garlic

Salt Jar

Seashell

Tree in Thick Fog

Red Pepper

At the Laptop

I like the seashell the best, but the garlic is a good one too.
Difficult technique, high key, I think.

I agree with Karen it's a difficult technique! And it is even more difficult to judge this challenge

I like your garlic shot Tamia!

I'm in favor of the garlic shot too. Good luck Tamia; you are off to a good start.

Not sure if any of them are actually "high key" but they are all nice shots in and of themselves.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I appreciate it! High key is turning out to be a lot harder than I imagined, and as you say, Mike, I'm not even sure I'm always on the right track. But it's fun to work on it! Iris, I do not envy you your judging task.

Nice and very interesting shots, I would say the bulb of Garlic stands out. I could almost taste it!

Thanks much for your comments, Eaglem and Swede. I'm kind of partial to the tree in fog photo, too.
