I shot this in August. I took 411 shots that day and am still
processing some of the shots. This was hand held, manual focus.
C&C welcome. Freddy

For me the subject isn't clear; there is just to much other stuff going on. Perhaps you should have moved in closer on the pond.

Looks like a spot with a lot of potential for many photos, Freddie. My eye keeps being drawn back to the top of the image, when I'd rather see more of the water and lilies. I think that this scene could become several pictures, but with each focusing more tightly on specific areas -- water, the leaves on top against dark background, rock textures and patterns. An appealing location.

Thanks Fries, and Tamia.
Tamia, I think I will make a cropping focused around the lily pond. I cropped this
picture down from a much bigger size, because I did want to emphasize the
seclusion of the little lily pond with the security of the massive rocks all round. I'm happy with that photo myself but sure want to try working
more on the lily pond subject, which I will definitely do. Warm regards. Freddy

For me....I really like it just like it is. Nice color and plenty sharp and well focused. Only thing I would do is add a big frog on that center rock, it would be Perfect then!
I used to keep frogs in my pocket when I was young, and still would but my Mom and Mrs Rupert won't allow it....otherwise I would offer you one!
Best Regards!

Hey, Thanks, Rupert. I love the frog idea.
Sounds like you had a fun childhood. It's funny visualizing you with
frogs in your pockets and a couple of women trying to run you down . LOL

Okay, guys and gals, you wanted a tighter crop. Here is a re-construction
of origian cropping. Hope you like this one. Freddy

Thanks, Tamia. Yes its a bit more intimate and less cluttered. Good suggestion. It would probably even make an interesting vertical shot
near the left side ( with some more re-constuction).
Regards, Freddy
