We have had a couple of rubbish autumns with wind or frost downing the leaves before they change colour.

nice picture. I wish I had taken some pictures of the fall in Laramie this year. By the way, what is the shadow on the picture( bottom center)?

Thanks. Autumn is only just arriving here now.

The shadow is how the leaves are. I used the on camera flash to fill and I suspect the lens or my arm stopped it spreading. That or it just never spread that far.

If you used the onboard flash that shadow will happen with some lenses. It happens with the Pentax 16 - 50mm and others. Removing the hood doesn't help.
