Nice shots!

Not that I don't like your bike but I was going to suggest that you crop it out of this particular picture. Great minds think alike! I like both shots but maybe the 1st one a bit more. The view from the front makes the building look less rambling. In the second one I find myself looking more towards the back than the front and the front seems to have more character. The rusty roof makes for a nice contrast with the green foliage.

Thanks for your comments. I also like it better without my bike in the shot. And I also prefer #1. The second shot is a bit too busy to me. But I thought people might like to look at 2 different perspectives of the place.

Neat-o!

Great old place!

Is it deserted/abandoned?

I'm surprised they have/had electricity.

It's nice to run across places like this one. They do have an appeal that draws you to them. I especially like the first one.

There was another, more modern home about 50 yards to the left. The grass was mowed over to the other home, so maybe they keep an eye on the old place. And yes, it is surprising to see the electric meter on the old home.

I have to digress with everyone and say that I like the 2nd shot better- something about having the building longer apeals to me. Either one, great shots! I'm a big fan of old (relatively speaking) buildings and such.
