Nice pictures. I like the first two the best. Is the second one hdr? I was there in the spring, it's a nice place to go and take pictures so close to DC.

Thanks for the kind comments. The 2nd shot is not an HDR, but instead post-processed with Topaz adjust. This was performed as a method of increasing the definition of the left (rock/water) side of the image which was a little dark in the original capture....

beautiful shots..... makes me say... wish i was there to see it for myself...... are any of the canal barges for tourists? it'd make a great few days of r+r... and photo ops.... dave m

Very nice shots. I drive by that park entrance every day right before I get to work... I think I really need to stop and take a look inside one of these days

Thanks for the kind comments. Yes, during the summer the barges are run a couple times of day for tourists. Please check the Grand Falls C&O Canal web site is see how late in the season they run. Its a pretty neat expiernce as they take you through a lift lock and then give you a 1 1/2 hr ride up the Canal...
