Very nice shot, nice lighting, perfect amount of fill. Pretty model.

Very professional IMHO, I suppose this would work for a full page magazine advertisement (for just about anything :-) The breeze doing its thing to her hair might result in a more dynamic kind shot (and/or an irate model ;-) and underline the surroundings.

Thanks Jim! As I recall, I used a gold reflector. I just wish that the Nikon film scanner had been able to reproduce the amazing turquoise of the ocean in the original slide; instead it looks dull.

Thanks jolepp! If there had been much more of a sea breeze, we'd all have been soaked by the waves coming in from the Pacific, and the water in the background would have been a different colour! Although a shot with the spray of a breaking wave in the background would be cool too. Thanks for the suggestion!
