Posted By: Andrew Faires, 09-18-2007, 10:53 AM

Was out yesterday taking some IR shots.

This is a 15 second exposure at f/4 with the 77mm lens on a K10D

C&C is definately welcome.

Interesting effect, Andrew. Almost like a castle tone rendition.

It's a work in progress. I'm still learning the ropes with IR photography...and I dare say I'm on the low end of the learning curve just yet

Not bad for a start! IR can be a lot of fun... but challenging with the K10D.

Here is a link that can really help you get more out of this photo... and many more. It's a step by step video and takes a minute to load, but this guy really will get you started in the right direction.

Thanks for commenting, Gary. And thanks for the link. It helps a lot! (I seem to have over-complicated the process )

Thanks Dave. It's been fun trying to figure it out so far - hopefully I'll get a chance to put that tutorial that Gary posted to good use in the next day or so
