No way, where are the tall buildings and street noise? Oh, right they are missing, that's why I would live here. Lovely shot, and you can just "hear" the silence.

It seems a bit rustic. Might need a horse.

That certainly is peaceful. The deafening silence is immediately evident. Nice shot.

Living there?? I am not so sure.

I lived in Big Timber for a while (back in the mid-70's). Yes. I'd live there in a heartbeat!!! (unfortunately, I'm stuck in New York) Blech!

Beautiful.
Looks like many "vistas" I've seen in a few Westerns.
In the days of the "Wild West", did this area feature much....I seem to remember Montana being mentioned in a few of them, & finally, were there any Indian wars in this area.
I'm in good old Aus, but I do have an interest in America's "Wild West", & some of those old westerns, which may not have been particularly factual, but they sure did have some beautiful scenery....some very similar to your image!
Cheers, Pickles.

Not much in the way of Indian wars in this area. In fact, Lewis and Clark came right through the area of this shot with an Indian guide. Big gold strikes in the area and lots of cattle and sheep. The real "old west" action was right up the road where the vigilantes brought some order to the new territory. They even hung the sheriff of the territorial capitol.

I love the simplicity. I could live there, but its not much different from where I live.
