Blackberries blast
Lens: Tamron 90mm macro 1:1 Camera: K-x
Posted By: miss_alexx, 11-10-2010, 12:58 PM

This is the first time I tried this. I like the results, but it is not perfect. I have some shots. Help me choose the best: pick a favorite please.
Thanks for looking.

I like #2 & #4 as well. I think that the darker wall behind makes things pop more. #5 i think the orange wall is just to harsh. I think #1 could also be as good as 2 and 4 if the wall was just a bit darker, but really cool shots!!!

Number 2 for me.
The drops have more space on top of the picture.
And although I love orange, in case of number 5 it's too distracting.

Thanks everyone for commenting.

I did some PP. This is a version that I'm very happy with it. What do you think?

Great job with that PP, looks quite dramatic now. The berry just barely in the air underlines the frozen moment :-)

Thanks! The berry was still in movement... it falls on ground after the shot was taken.

That last one is very nice too, maybe a little bit too much vignetting for my taste, but it show the drops splashing out of the glass against the wall very good.

Thanks for commenting. I added vignetting because the light was not that perfect...
