Nice, I have been taking some band shots with my K10 and it has been challenging. These turned out great. Were you using a flash? Or ambient lighting?

I shoot bands with a k 10 as well it's a bugger in low light, noise ninja helps, but it's time to upgrade (k5 is in my sights now to find the cash.....)

Hey Eddie, I am in Toronto too. Who are you shooting for? Just your own thing? I never saw another Pentax at a show, not that I go to every show, but still. Surprising!

Lately I haven't shot many shows I'm slowly moving away from it, but I've shot for Fazer (defunct) Soundproof, and lately Punk Globe in San Fran.
I've run into one shooter with Pentax, he's about my age (50) and Shoots for the horseshoe on film (usually a couple of LX cameras and about 4 lenses whenever I run into him.
Last time I shot anything seriously at this point in Toronto was NXNE, i'll need to get back on it if I want to maintain my press status for next years NXNE
Next thing I'll shoot will be Glen Matlock at the Bovine, and I may call someone for a photo pass for Killing Joke (I'm going in any case)
I may be doing something for the Blow Up reunion in December as well (shooting for Davy Love and Fred Perry if it pulls together ie my bid makes it by the Fred Perry bean counters )
Who do you shoot for Howard?

Awesome stuff Eddie. I am actually just getting into it and so, to lend myself some much needed credibility, I run my own blog to publish my shots. The blog has seen much more traffic that I expected it to, but I suspect that I would be a long way from any sort of media accreditation at the NXNE level. Though to be honest I tend to focus on the smaller semi-established local acts, I find it more enjoyable working with them, probably because they appreciate the publicity!

So in short, I just shoot for myself. Perfect while I am still learning the ropes.

I'll likely shoot Voodoo Bunny Saturday Steve sent me a message asking me to. Shot The holiday party the other week (ex disreali's etc.)
If the blog gets decent traffic NXNE may be open, worth a shot, they like people to cover local acts
