Didn't have a lot of time to get out this week and shoot so I grabbed my Raynox and 55-300 to get a few shots of my friendly honeybees on our deck. The hummingbird feeder leaks onto the deck and they seem to love it. I think that the 55-300 and the Raynox are a potent combination for budget macros.

These are wonderfully sharp. I never considered a Ranox before, but this series makes me think that it would be a good addition to the kit. Nice job.

I like the third and fourth because of the diagonal, and slightly more pronounced focal plane. The amount of deck in focus in both, especially the fourth adds a little something to the composition.
