... at least, demonstrating how to do their thing to my EMT students

First shots with my new K20D, also! I really dig this body, but the K-x just whoops it with noise control. Still, at smaller sizes I think it they look decent. The AWB is also pretty bad... I haven't messed with the settings yet, but I wonder if there is an "increased tungsten correction in AWB" like the K-x has. It's like learning how to shoot all over again

The WB here seems fine! For night shots, though, I've usually had to go manual to avoid screwing up the colors.

You can also shoot RAW and worry about many settings later, instead of evaluating them on a small LCD.
