Lens: DA 18 - 55 Camera: K - X Photo Location: Bishan Park , Singapore

This photo demonstrates that even a kit lens ( 18 - 55mm f/3.5 - 5.6 ), under the right conditions can provide a decent picture. Picture taken at Bishan Park, Singapore.

Fantastic clarity and colors! The only thing I'd change here is darken the white railings on the bridge, and maybe rotate the whole image 0.5 degrees CCW, as it appears slightly crooked.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for the feedback. Hope to find the time to make the changes. I was lucky that particular day. I went out pretty early that day with the K-X and the kit lens. Weather was fine, and somehow it all came together. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the result which came out from this combination. Once again Pentax has proven that it can offer good cameras at attractive price.

Beautiful shot, I love the clear reflection ! I would maybe clone out the small patch of dark leaves at the top-left, and like Adam I think it looks a little bit crooked.

What a great reflection you've captured here.
The kit lens isn't bad at all, under the right circumstances. Well done.
