Twilight

It was late as I was coming down from the mountain towards the lower valleys. The sun had already set and I was getting ready to get my headlamp out since it was very dark already. Suddenly, the clouds remaining from the evening storn were lit with a fiery red light, and reflected the light back towards me for a good 20 or 30 minutes. It was one of the most awesome twilights that I have ever witnessed. I am not entirely staisfied with my photos, I really should have used my tripod but this time I couldn't afford to be delayed. I kind of regret it.

This wraps up my short backpacking trip in Añisclo and Ordesa. The other series, if you are interested, can be found here:

Stunning colors in 3, 5 & 6. Nice captures
I love the framing/perspective in #4. If it didn't look so... terrestrial... I'd say it was something out of a Roger Dean painting

Thanks for your comment Mike. What amazed me the most was that suddenly it all went from almost dark to this bright reddish light, just as if someone had turned on a switch. Just the clouds reflecting light from a sun that had set a long while before.
