I recently acquired my first DSLR, a Pentax K-x, and I've picked up a couple of lenses too. I have an FA 35mm F2, and an FA 17-70mm F4, along with the kit. I only brought the first two with me to Paris over the weekend. After taking an introductory DSLR photo class, and several days of practice in NYC, here are some of my results.

Nice shallow depth of field on the first shot.

I like that first shot too. The Eiffel is a bit distracting in the last one, unless you'd crop it into a vertical picture cutting 20% left and 10% right... just an idea
