A Storm Approaching
Lens: DA 10-17 Fisheye Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Geelong ISO: 400

Incoming thunderstorm, this shot was about 6 FE shots stitched together and editting in CS5.

Sky enhanced using high pass filter, with curves and levels applied to that layer. Then flattened with some more curves and then a USM applied.

The original tiff came too about 200mb at 16bit

To the human eye it was impressive, but this photo really brought out just what the eye can't clearly see.

NOOO!

The storm pretty much missed us, however together we copped a direct hit and I wasn't able to get any decent shots of it.
