Rhyd Ddu, Snowdonia
Lens: Sigma 18-50 Camera: Kx Photo Location: Rhyd Ddu
Posted By: bychan, 12-04-2010, 11:07 AM

Went for a walk recently to Snowdonia, starting off from Rhyd Ddu.
I did not get very far, and the weather was poor (light drizzle which had the Kx in/out of the camera bag throughout).

Some shots were also ruined with rain drops on the filter appearing in the images

Here's a selection, ISO 200-1000.

I really like these, Adrian. The last one with the snow inching down the slopes is particularly appealing to me as a former mountaineer, and I like hot the sheep is blithely crunching away in the left middleground. Is there snow all over the hillsides now? Thanks for posting.

Very pleasing series - I like them all but I'm particularly attracted to the second one.

Thanks Tamia, Snowdonia seems to have a good coat of snow ATM.
No snow where I am, but it's very cold and frosty

A bit dangerous ATM, what with the snow and frost

Hambino, the term Snowdonia refers to anywhere that lies within the Snowdonia National Park (where Mount Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales).

Thanks all.
