Wow! That is fabulously sharp! I have shots of a different species of Bee Eater, but they're not nearly as sharp as that. Did you use a tripod?

I 'd like to show one more picture on Bee-eater, but made with other lens - Tokina 400 mm SD MF and my favorite body - K20D

Sharp, contrasty, rich colors, the birds really stand out against the beautiful smooth background blur, great work :-)

These two pictures of the green woodpecker (Picus viridis) are again made with two different lens. The first was shot with PENTAX 300mm/F4 SDM, and the second photo with Tokina 400mm/F5.6 SD MF.

The Tokina lens shows very good behavoir relitive to PF and CA.

One Robin (Erithacus rubecula) with Pentax 300mm/F4 SDM

The second is from yesterday with Tokina 400mm/F5.6 SD MF
