Who's that bird? Wanna play?

The young deer seems puzzled about that stork wandering around in his world!

Nice capture, Ole!
I've only seen 1 stork in the wild and you getting a picture of a stork and a fawn in the same frame is awesome.

Love the way almost the whole frame is green, except for the 2 creatures....

Very cool and unique picture!

Great Ole. I have seen neither a stork nor a dear in real life, lots of ducks though! This is a real treat

This really is a great example of how timing and simply being in the right place at the right time can make such a great photo. Good job using a big enough aperature to keep both subjects in focus. I can really see a picture like this being used in Calendars or for a puzzle print or something similar. You should submit it to the pentax gallery and see what they think. Great work!

What an excellent catch. Yes, I would agree, and it was the first thing that cought my eyes. The fact the bird on this side of the trunk and in-focus, whilst the fawn ON THE OTHER SIDE is slightly out of focus - suggesting perhaps OUT OF REACH or I'M WATCHIN' YA.

Well done on making of the rest of us drool.

Wow!! What a capture! I have never seen a stork IRL.... and too neat to catch them both at the same time!

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm happy I got at least one keeper that day - the weather wasn't cooperating, it was overcast and dark, so I had to use a relatively large aperture meaning shallow DOF.
