Roman weekend
Lens: FA35/2 Camera: K-7 and LX3 Photo Location: Rome
Posted By: Jasvox, 12-06-2010, 08:31 AM

Spent a long last weekend in Rome at end of November. Here are some shots with my K-7 and my Lumix LX3.

Roman Forum from Capitoline Hill facing more or less south toward the Colosseum. Late afternoon shadows were nice, but hard for the camera to take it all in.

Looking from the Forum over toward Trajan's Market, late Friday afternoon November 26th.

One of the fountains in the north end of Piazza Navona. Taken with my LX3.

Same fountain in Piazza Navona, from a different angle. Lumix LX3

Overlooking the ancient center of Rome from Palantine Hill, near the gardens of Augustus.

Would love to visit this area one day. The first looks like it is stuck in time. Well done. JIM

Very appealing photos. Lots to look at in each one of them. I love the colors and sharpness. Well done.

great city for photography, nice examples. I wasn't a huge fan of the city itself though so a revisit is way down my list (after a load of other places)
I do wish I'd had a good rangefinder outfit with me there though the street photography has excellent potential,

Nice shots, how typical those colours from the buildings are.
