43 Ltd Porcelain Doll

This is what happens when you get carried away with processing....you end up with a Porcelain Doll instead of a real live Model. In the original I missed the focus a little, and didn't do justice to the 43Ltd...so I just played around until I go this.......not exactly what I wanted, but I still like it.
Best Regards!

Glad to see the 43 is getting some camera time

I ended up having some seller's remorse and rebought a 43 last week - I think the 31 and 77 were getting lonely

Yes, I love the 43, but I am a having some difficulty with it...it keeps wanting to go home and be with its older and younger brothers........I guess I will have to adopt some for him!
BTW- I have no buyers remorse!

Best Regards!

I know you were going for the doll-like effect, but she looks like she's been overly airbrushed to hide flaws. It looks completely unnatural, but I realize that's the intended effect.

Rupert, I like this one because it has the best white balance I've seen from you, no odd skin coloring. You're a shining example of improvement by putting in some time and hard work.

Einstrigger....I am in total agreement! And it was absolutely my desired result. I failed on the lips, but just got too tired to process them into porcelain.

Builttospill....I wish I could share your enthusiasm about my improvement, but I think I am more kin to the Blind Hog that finds an acorn. I do keep trying, but also depend on getting lucky as much as possible!

Best Regards& Thanks for looking!
