I almost got this one right, but failed in several areas. It is a heavy crop, and required a little pushing in exposure.....still, I like it. Maybe next time I will get it just right?
Best Regards!

Nice, Rupert.
Looking much like your previous good portraits of her.
Again I notice her lips are quite dry.
Lighting again reasonably good and nice use of vignette.
Next stop is working on the background separation a little more with an extra light on the backdrop, but otherwise, two thumbs up.

Thanks Ash, I find more problems with it than you noted, but I do still like it. I don't know what it is with these girls and their dry chapped lips? It has been dry and cool here lately, but their lips look cooked? Maybe they do that suntanning stuff and don't protect their lips? I'll ask them.
If you saw the original of this, you would also see lots of those little sparkles from that eye make-up with the little silver flakes in it....horrible for photos and hard to remove, but they think it is wonderful stuff! LOL!
Best Regards as usual!

Looks good to me, my friend. I don't recall you doing portraits until very recently - is something new or have I just not been paying attention?

Good to see you! No, I haven't done much of this until about 6-8 weeks ago when I bought some "studio equipment" and decided to give it a try. I have a little "Studio" downtown in my friends Computer Store/Learning Center and thought it would give me some place to stay occupied this winter....since I Hate cold weather! (Cold to me is anything below 60F)
So far I have had tons of fun, and have even captured a few decent shots, but have a long journey before I reach any level of real competence.....if I ever do? I usually shoot one or two days a week, have lovely volunteer Models, and Pizza and Hot Wings with drinks (Dr Pepper/Coca Cola) We have more fun than a box of Squirrels!

Here is what I have done so far...
Shelby - a set on Flickr (Shelby)

Lacie - a set on Flickr
Lacie

Some decent, some not...but all of them were fun!

Best Regards!
Rupert

Absolutely! Post all you want, Festus and Otis both roam this place looking for lovely ladies......of the Squirrel variety, but they will take what we give them! If you have more, by all means post them here!
Best Regards!

Here I got my Eye Candy....some Candy! Festus prefers peanuts or walnuts for his young ladies, but Snickers have peanuts too!

OK, rather than spoof your post, I think I'll just post my "Hatted Katie" right here. Enjoy

I'll see your hat and I'll raise you a hat.

This one is a US Marine. Don't remember Marines being that pretty when I was in.

Now Ed, I have to warn you, I have a ton of Hatted Girl shots......but I will play as long as
you do!

I like your girl,....... Marine? I thought Marines were tough......she looks soft and cuddly, but I wouldn't want to question it!

Here is Shelby again......give me your next Hatter......
Best Regards!

Well, being that you're in Texas, I suspect you got tons of pics of babes in Western hats.

I've only go a couple of more. But, it's fun doing this anyway.

Here's Miss Ashley

Ed, if you have any more, post them! It has been fun! If not, I will leave you with one of those "Red Hat" girls. You have some nice work, maybe I will catch up to you someday!
Best Regards!
