Well the trip to Newfoundland is coming to a close. It was primarily a business trip so shooting opportunities were limited. The weather didn’t help with rain for the 5 days I was here and dark grey sky’s the rest of the time. At 4pm today before boarding the ferry back to Nova Scotia the sun finally broke through. So here’s a few pics from the Island Of Newfoundland.

It’s a rough and raw landscape. They don’t call this place “The Rock” for nothing. It’s closer to Greenland than most of Canada. Lots of low to mid sized mountains and much bigger than it would appear on a map. My last trip here was over 6500 Kms I’ll write more in the next post. which is here:

Ari, unfortunately is a bit more of a 'snap shot' picture. I was actually taking some shots of the historic fort with the 43mm and heard someone comment on the huge flock of gulls behind me. Wrong lens and the original looks a bit soft as well. Wished I had the 77mm on the camera for that, just no time to react.
