Huntington museum
Lens: Tamron 28-58 Camera: K20D Photo Location: San Marino CA

The Huntington is an art gallery, museum, library and botanic garden.

(These first ones are not with the 28-75 :-)

The most famous painting is probably Gainesborough's "The Blue Boy".


The library has the largest collection outside the National Archives.


All the following images are with the Tamron 28-75 which I just bought an hour earlier from a forum member...



The Aenid.






Scientific discovery...


A row of different translations of Darwin's "Origin of Species".






Furniture...






Sculpture...




Desert garden...(light rain eased up for 15 minutes)...

Nice series. That first one is a stunner but you might want to crop out that round drain in the center bottom of it.

Thanks for the comments. I could probably get the white thing in the corner at the same time.

I fixed the drain hole on the first shot, and here are a few more from previous visits.
