I really like the first shot because the perspective is different from what you usually see. Nicely done.

I like these. My big 2011 vacation objective is here for the 3rd of July. They do the 4th of July fireworks on the 3rd. This past year, however, fireworks were canceled due to fire hazard...pine beetle infestation which killed the trees.

We were there over the 4th and it was as you said. We camped in Spearfish, near Deadwood for a month, so had plenty of time to explore the area. Here is a series of photos I took with the 50-200mm lens with 2x tele-onverter to get up close and personal with these great men.
