Redeeming myself...
Posted By: Igilligan, 09-30-2007, 11:04 AM

In my last series of shots I posted, three forum members gave their honest critique and the overwhelming consensus was.... DULL / BORING....

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/12515-practice-makes-pic...c-welcome.html

So I have since put the artistic pedal to the "metal" and have captured a shot that I think may be in the running for 'Photo of the Year' ( I accept the nomination)

In this one I believe I have truly captured the pain of the 'pig spirit' being trapped in rusted steel body. Forced to pose like some JC Penny underwear model in front of a cheap psychedelic backdrop.
You can clearly see the forced half-smile and the lifeless vacant eyes.

As always I beg for attention and your honest critiques

Thank you

Motion seconded. Artistic and Poetic at the same time - how often will you get that.

Much better pal.

I know you just love to 'hog' the spotlight again! Nice shot! It makes me 'squeal' with delight.

A great shot . . . . . no matter how you slice it.

Seriously, this is an interesting image.

When pigs fly! While the image is nice, it's far from 'Photo of the Year' caliber. And, while I don't want to appear pigheaded about this, you're just making a pig of yourself (metaphorically speaking of course) with claims to the contrary.

While your previous photos may have been judged to be dull, this one is simply "boar...ing"

Ok...that's my bad pun for the day. Actually I like the shot.

That my friend is more than just a "bad pun for the day".... That could easily be in the running for "Bad Pun of the Year"

In fact, I hearby nominate you for that honor.... we are awaiting a second on the nomination.

I will see you at the Awards Dinner, where I will be collecting my "Photo of the Year"...
