yeatzee's macros: Merry Christmas Tanner style!!
Lens: M 50mm F/1.7 Camera: K-7
Posted By: yeatzee, 12-23-2010, 01:03 PM

2 images stacked taken with a full set of extension tubes + an old TC with the glass removed for more magnification and a reversed broken M 50mm F/1.7.

There's a couple more non-Christmas style shots I'll upload when I finish going through them

At 16, I would never have even imagined a shot like that! Nicely done.

I've followed your progress on here over the past year ..... for just 16 you have some amazing macro skills and I really look forward to seeing more of your work.

It is a pity Pentax don't have a lense like Canon's MPE65 - I'd like to see what you could do with that !

Hey frogfish! Yeah I've come a long way since I first Started I too wish pentax had a similar lens...... and let's not forget about their wonderful macro flash as well! I anticipate someday adding a canon system to atleast try it out..... but as you said I am 16 so that wont be for a while..... plus I will always shoot pentax one way or another

Tanner, you're a talented young man.
Your insect specialties, esp. with these jumping spiders, are exquisite.
You're a macro pro in the making...

Ditto all the positive feedback. Great pictures. Great innovation using a 50 mm lens etc.
