My ridiculous family Christmas shot.
Lens: DA 35 Limited Camera: K20D
Posted By: kenemore, 12-24-2010, 06:32 AM

My house is rarely serious, so we figured this might represent us best. Shot with a few Speedotron strobes and edited in Photoshop. Merry Christmas, everyone!

great shot, how did you get everyone's co-operation did you put something in the koolaid ;-p
there was a thread bemoaning the difficulty of getting everyone to co-operate,
the dog is usually the easiest to get to co-operate (though i've been trying to get my cattle dog to wear a santa hat that's not going so well......

HA! It's always a task to get people to cooperate (especially the boys)... we were lucky to get the dog cooperating too. I was especially glad you can see the whites of her eyes.

The key to this particular shoot was the 'marshmallow bribe.'

Love it. The dog catches me off guard, and the kid's expressions enhance my smile.

Dan, that's hysterical. I just love the expression of the lady of the house and
the children are delightful. Definitely off beat and very entertaining.
Thanks for the treat. Freddy

I doubt that they ate the dog. They didn't take the hair off it yet. Freddy

Just goes to show you, what do I know about Haute Cuisine!
I heard stuffing and roasting works with dogs as well as turkeys. Freddy
