Had the most beutifulll natural light on my orchids after christmas lunch today so I had to get my black paper out and take a few shots of them where they stood in my bedroom. Window light and a bedtable lamp. Iso 80, f14, 15 sec exp.

And a merry christmas!

Cool. They really stand out against the dark background.

You've done the flower justice.
Indeed you got the right light, and a suitably subdued background.
Well done.

Thanks for all the comments
Today I looked at the flower, tried to get the camera in some different angles. But its hard with a 35mm... WAIT!! I got my voigtlander 180/4, should be able to get some other variation and softer bokeh.

Whats it called when you totaly forgett lenses. Insane, thats the word I was looking for

If anyone want to get in touch with me ill be over at the assylum, just next to the joker, riddler and Harry twoface...
