Merry xmas from somewhere colder :)
Lens: Zuiko Digital 12-60/f2.8-4 SWD + Zuiko Digital 8mm f3.5 FE Camera: Olympus E-3 Photo Location: Helsinki, Finland

Here's a few shots from my first ever white christmas I'm in Helsinki and two nights ago we had -22C. My girlfriend in Perth has 41C today; that's only 63C difference!

All with the E-3 and ZD 8mm FE (last shot with the ZD 12-60)

Merry xmas all

I can almost hear the squeak of the snow as people walk on it. A very nice series that brought back memories from when I lived in an area with a bit more snow than Ohio.

Thanks for sharing.

nice pictures. I would use maybe bit more blue cast so pictures alone can tell how cold is it.. :-)

Funny you say that, I was just looking at the first one and thinking I should've pulled a bit more blue out...

Now that's cold and snowy. They are saying we may see a little here (a little is less than an inch and the city will come to a standstill for the hour it will take to melt.)

I'd love to be at your girlfriends......

Lovely impression, apart from the blue cast your photos
are a tad underexposed. That's a common problem with
snow photos, I guess, and can easily be fixed. But
what I said: nice impression. And I'm glad I am not
in Helsinki....
