The big Northeast snowstorm has just started.They are forcasting 1-2 ft of snow with blizzard conditions overnight with 60mph gusts and power failures.These shots were taken minutes ago 3pm and I hope to post more as the storm goes on.I love the excitement of the storm but I don't look forward to the cleanup later. They say that the storm may not stop until tomorrow midday.I have plenty of Christmas wine and assorted cheer , food and candles.This is a big deal in the Boston Ma. area and it will certainly make the news nation wide.I'm in my hunker down mode so let it snow,let it snow, let it snow.---Charliezap

It's 9:05 pm 28deg and the wind is steady at 20mph with 5-6 inches of snow on the ground.The visibility is less than a 1/4 mile with the heart of the storm still to arrive---charliezap
