That is one relaxed gator. Spread eagle no less. Nice BIFs too. Like the first ibis the best.

Great series of photos especially when I see snow when I look out he window. Like the ones with the reflections of the birds in the water the best.

If you get a chance, head out to Merritt Island Natl. Seashore. You won't lack for bird photo ops there. Love the storks.

That gators not just relaxed, lol. That was most likely a Mama gator sitting on her eggs. I sure hope you were using a long lens because they can get very testy if you get too close while they're nesting. FYI gators seldom sprawl like that with their legs out unless they're protecting something. Most of the time they keep their legs fairly close to their bodies so they can make a quick escape. You see that particular posture? Likely it's a female nesting and you'd maybe be better off skipping that shot unless you're really far away or can run REALLY fast!

I'm always leery of the gators. I was charged by a 9ft female while canoeing in Myakka State park. She dove under the canoe at the last minute. They get feisty when you get close to the nest. The car door stays open and nearby when i shoot these guys. Am always ready to run at their slightest motion.

Glad u like them. I escaped chicago only to get a few days of 30 degree (nite time) weather here. it does get into the 50s during those days so i can't complain. the prediction is for warmer days ahead

Nice series! That moon shot with the flying bird is a wall hanger imo, when cropped a little from the upper right corner...
